Refund Policy
fitsyou is a product of Anna Arndt, trading as House of Steam, a sole trader (Einzelunternehmen) registered in Berlin, Germany. We are the seller and merchant of record for any paid subscription — refund requests are handled by us directly, not by a third-party payment provider.
Paid plans have not launched yet — fitsyou is currently free during its beta. The terms below describe how refunds will work once paid plans (Pro, Power, Atelier) go live.
Free Plan
The Free plan is provided at no cost. No charges apply, and no refunds are applicable.
Paid Subscriptions (Pro, Power, Atelier) — once launched
Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to your paid plan and its credits until that date. We do not issue refunds for the remaining days of an active billing period.
Refund Eligibility
We consider refunds in the following situations:
- You were charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge or a technical failure on our end)
- You did not use your subscription at all during the billing period and contact us within 7 days of the charge
We do not issue refunds for partial use of credits or for unused credits at the end of a billing period.
Credits
Try-on credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits on paid plans expire at the end of each billing cycle in line with your plan's reset schedule. Credits are not transferable between accounts.
Grace Period
If your paid subscription lapses and your account enters the grace period, no additional charges are made during this time. Credits are frozen and not consumed. No refund is applicable for the grace period itself.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at admin@fitsyou.live with the subject line Refund Request, including:
- The email address on your fitsyou account
- The date of the charge
- A brief description of the issue
We aim to respond within 3 business days.
EU Right of Withdrawal
As an EU consumer, you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a digital services contract under the Consumer Rights Directive (§ 355 BGB). Because try-on generation begins immediately on your request and consumes a credit as soon as it runs, checkout for a paid plan will ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgment that this withdrawal right is lost once performance has begun (§ 356(5) BGB) — but only for the credits you have actually used. Unused credits and any unused portion of a billing period remain covered by the refund terms above.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For EU consumers, mandatory statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law are not affected by this policy.
